Ricardo J. Rodríguez

Ricardo J. Rodríguez received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Zaragoza, Zaragoza, Spain, in 2010 and 2013, respectively. His Ph.D. dissertation was focused on performance analysis and resource optimization in critical systems with special interest on Petri nets modelling techniques. He is currently a Senior Researcher at the Research Institute of Applied Sciences in Cybersecurity (RIASC), University of Leon, Spain.

His research interests include performance analysis and optimization of large and distributed systems, computer software security and dependability. He has participated as speaker in other security conferences, such as NoConName (2011 to 2014), Hack.LU (2011), RootedCON (2012) and Hack in Paris (2013). He has also been a trainer at NoConName (2011, 2013, 2014), RootedCON (2013) and Hack in Paris (2013) teaching about reverse engineering techniques in Windows environments, anti-analysis techniques, and RFID/NFC (in)security.
